PSM Instrumentation Ltd has been a manufacturer of tank liquid level gauging systems for 30 years. Specialising in the Marine and offshore industries. Tankstar

The Level Transmitter 'Tankstar' series is designed to meet the latest IEC and marine standards. It's sturdy construction and design flexibility provide reliable monitoring of liquid levels and pressures in harsh environments. Typically ship's tanks and draught applications where conditions of high overload, shock and corrosion are common.
The maintenance free design containing no active electronic components ensures reliable and trouble free operation - critical in shipboard applications. The 'Tankstar' has the sensitivity needed to accurately measure shallow tanks but sustains a 50 times overload without damage.

This rugged, easy to install fully immersible instrument is gaining a reputation for reliability and high accuracy from the top drilling companies.

The PSM 290 Mud Density Transmitter mounts directly into the mud mix tank and return pits and provides a 4-20mA signal calibrated to the density range.   Unlike conventional d/p devices the 290 does not use remote diaphragm seals that degrade the performance particularly under temperature.
