Vertically mounted float level switches provide point level detection of liquids in all types of vessels. Switches may be single point make on rise or fall with any combination of make on rise or make on fall.

The stainless steel float contains a magnet. As the float rises / falls past the switch point this magnet activates a reed switch contained within the float stem.

Collars located on the stem limit the travel of the float (or floats on a multipoint switch) and ensure that the float holds the reed switch in the energised position while the alarm condition is present.

External test handles allow manual checking of float /alarm operation irrespective of the liquid level.

Horizontally mounted float level switches provide point level detection of liquids in all types of vessels.

As the float rises (high Alarm) or falls (low alarm) with the monitored liquid, a magnet attached to the end of the operating arm activates a micro switch within the termination housing.

There are a wide range of models to suit differing applications.

An external test handle allows checking of the switch operation irrespective of liquid level.
