Tankview Tank monitoring and control software for simple networksSimple networks
Tankview Graphical Display Package & iCT

Tankview is a simple to operate graphical display software package running within the Windows environment. It provides the user with a clear picture of the current status of all inputs for a complete tank gauging solution for monitoring & control.
Each sensor input is represented by a graphical object which shows the current status in the form of a bar graph. Current numeric values such as level, volume and ullage may also be displayed in any chosen unit.

Tankview combined with our new generation of iCT modbus digital level, pressure and temperature sensors provide a complete tank gauging solution offering clear advantages and cost savings due to the multi-drop configuration, reduced power consumption and remote setup.

The transmitters are interconnected in a multi-drop configuration where the cable goes from point to point rather than each connection being run all the way back to a data acquisition module or central display - save 80% of cable cost typically.

Reduced power: Run in digital mode, the transmitter has a much lower power consumption enabling multiple instruments to be connected via a single power / communications barrier for ATEX compliance as opposed to each requiring it’s own supply and barrier.  For a typical 50 channel system save 49 zener barriers

Remote setup: The sensors can be addressed and calibrated remotely from any point on the network with no specialised equipment. Sensor calibration does not require access to sensor nor pressure source.  They are also interchangeable and can be configured after installation reducing spares requirements.  The configuration data is stored in non-volatile memory both on the sensors themselves and within the Tankview central monitor for instant data restoration to a replaced sensor.

ClearView Oily water overboard discharge monitoring With coastal authorities actively seeking out offenders using airplanes and satellite imagery, and scrutinising oil records as never before, it has become clear that even the latest on-board diagnostics analysers and recording equipment can be wilfully bypassed resulting in
$millions in pollution penalties

ClearView ® works by monitoring existing oil discharge monitoring equipment, making continuous calculations and logging data from the entire overboard discharge and oily-water separation process. It provides senior officers and shore based staff with warnings and alarms of fault conditions and developing problems, giving them time to react or even shut down the discharge altogether.

water in your oil?

Originally designed to military specifications NSN 6135-99-195-6708, our ATEX approved, portable and ergonomic water in oil level detector guards against potentially expensive engine failures due to water ingress.
Battery powered with automatic shut off, this device can repeatedly be used to detect the presence and level of water contamination accumulated in the bottom of oil storage tanks and vessels.
Suitable for use in hazardous areas.

Bureau Veritas & Lloyds Type Approved bilge water level alarm switches

Due to the harsh environments these products encounter and our experiences in this application over several years, we subjected our new design to extensive testing greatly exceeding all the required environmental standards for Marine Type Approvals.
Details of these tests an be found on our website Click here for full details

Approved Water Ingress Detection Alarm & Monitoring System  for Bulk Carrier safety
In Accordance with Solas Chapter XII Regulation 12 and IACS unified requirement UR S24 - IMO DE 46/18/1 & DE 46/18/2
‘Bulksafe’ water Ingress detection monitoring & alarm System draws upon almost 30 years of PSM’s experience in supplying monitoring and alarm systems in shipboard liquid levels to provide a robust, reliable, simple to install and operate solution for this critical water ingress detection in cargo application for bulk carrier safety.
Systems require only one sensor per hold to detect both pre and main alarm conditions, sensor and system operation may be checked at any time irrespective of hold status by using a simple test mechanism built into the deck termination enclosure. No additional compressed air or water services are needed to effect this test.
